A pop of color in a black and white world symbolizes the good and positivity that exists – and it does exist! Look around you for vibrant colors and you will soon realize the palette of life is one to be enjoyed. To celebrate happy hues, the Dolls teamed up with mywalit to get the word out about National Color Day on October 22. So go ahead… Throw kindness around like confetti. Paint the town red. Live colorfully.
The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love colour the most” – John Ruskin
Color can influence your mood and even boost your creativity. Energetic red, pink and orange can bring new life to your thought process. Something we all need from time to time 😉 Blue and green are calming colors for relaxation and ease.
With National Color Day around the corner, we’re thrilled to partner with mywalit – the Italian leather accessories brand known for their color, creativity and fun. The Dolls have dumped their candy-colored tote to reveal … What’s in our bag?
- Urban Decay Cosmetics Vice Lipstick Sheer – F-Bomb (classic red) from Ulta Beauty
- OPI Nail Laquer Madam President from Ulta Beauty
- Mala to keep our intentions closeby
- Fun Sunglasses
- Wallet from mywalit
- FujiFilm Instax Mini in pink from Target (we love this BAE frame from Urban Outfitters too)
- Favourite Things Kate Spade note cards available here (we also adore the matching notebook)
- Crystals – Rose Quartz for love and Larimar for communication
While basic black and nude tones will forever be wardrobe staples, adding a hue or two can transform your look. Incorporating color to your wardrobe can do amazing things for your skin tone, eye shade, hair color and overall appearance.
A bright bag is one of the Dolls’ favorite ways to introduce color to your ensemble. The trick to picking the right colorful bag? Choose a shade that complements the palette of your wardrobe. For example, a bold blue purse pairs beautifully if you often wear cool tones like gray and lavender, while a pretty pink purse is perfect if you normally rock warmer shades like browns, neutrals and gold.
In honor of the vibrant holiday we’re hosting a shopping party! Join the Dolls + bloggers behind Style by Joules, Effie’s Dress on October 19 at Notice Accessories (5028 N. Clark) to shop our favorites from mywalit! You can RSVP right here. The first 25 guests will receive a tassel key ring and everyone will get a gift with a purchase of $100 or more!

Great post! I love adding pops of color into my wardrobe. I am a huge fan of a pink, red, or plum lip with a black outfit. I have to wear black for my acting classes so it is fun to sneak in a pop of color.
Love it, Lauren! Those lipstick choices are a-doll-able 💖
