Politics, politics and some more (yep, you guessed it) politics. Whether you are Democrat or Republican, it can all get a bit overwhelming from time to time. It’s times like these that we thank Anheuser Busch for nominating a party we can all get behind – Nothing brings America together like Bud Light. The Bud Light Party is a fake political party America needs right now. A party for everyone.

The Bud Light campaign trail hosted 13 conventions nationwide with an extraordinary lineup  of  performances from “super delegates”, including 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Brett Eldredge, Cam, Charli XCX, Chase Bryant, Chino y Nacho, Dashboard Confessional, Dillon Francis, El Komander, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Justin Moore, Kongos, Lil Jon, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Nelly, Randy Houser, The Strumbellas, T-Pain, Tinashe, Wale, The White Panda, Young the Giant.

The Dolls got down to  Lil Jon as he mixed up something for everyone from rap to trap music to disco and even a little country. We got a little nostalgic with“to the window, to the wall…” and as always danced like only Dolls do! Even though Caitlin and Danielle don’t frequent country shows too often, we broadened our musical horizons with Justin Moore’s performance.

The beer flowed like beer and the dancing continued late into the night. Bud Light is one of those adult beverages that can bring together a diverse crowd so we can all rock under one roof. The evening was complete with fun and games, photo booths, delicious food and tons of Bud Light #swag.

Believe it or not the Dolls love supporting beer because it complements an ever-evolving yoga practice. Yes, you read that correctly… beer and yoga! With National Yoga Month on the horizon, we’ve got asanas on the mind.

When the common brewing starch, barley grains, were analyzed with beer samples, a Finnish research team discovered ample hordatines. What are hordatines? They are phenolic compounds that may possess big-time antioxidant power. They are also known to trigger smooth-muscle contractions, which help keep digestion humming – a nice complement to twisting asanas! To reap the most benefits of your foam and flex, order beers brewed with barley malts, such as lagers, ales, stouts, and porters; wheat and light beers typically contain barley but also wheat, rice, or corn, so hordatine concentrations are often lower, says the study’s lead researcher, Juha-Matti Pihlava.
