Southwest Winter Wonderland

There’s nothing quite like the first snow of the season to quiet the city and transform the hustle and bustle to a magical snow globe. As each snowflake sways in the chill air making its way to the earth, a flurry of whimsy warms the hearts of Dolls everywhere. ‘Tis the season for hot cocoa, cosy fashion and holiday soirées. This season, Caitlin and Danielle are dreaming of a Southwest Winter Wonderland.

All we want for Christmas is bold Navajo prints, luxe fur, lovely lace and custom hand-crafted boots. West Town’s hidden shopping gem, Alcala’s Boutique is making all of our Southwest Winter Wonderland dreams come true. The store first opened their doors on October 21, 2013 by two sisters, Elia Alcala and Linda Alcala as the modern-day Western store for the fashion vixen. Their hand-picked pieces make women feel both comfortable and beautiful.

This winter we are loving a color palette boasting of neutrals like creamy white, tan, black and deep browns in luxe fabrics like lace, velvet and fur. We then layer in pops of color from these beautiful Southwestern jackets.

This boutique features a private label made by hand…. To be worn mainly with attitude! The custom hats and boots are totally swoon-worthy. When you put one of these custom pieces on your body, you can feel the love and attention that goes into their creation.

Shopping at Alcala’s Boutique is an experience where Dolls can find one-of-a-kind jewelry, shoes, boots, bags, and home decor items. The two sisters began their take from Alcala’s Western Wear, where they inherited the retail ins and outs from their Family Business. As they grew older, they then decided to branch out with Alcala’s Collection. Our history and heritage go into every stitch of our boots, shoes, and bags.
