Can we talk about how great Chicago is? We live in a city where every corner is a new opportunity. In this life, we can take those opportunities and turn them into an unforgettable adventure – no matter how big or how small. Alter your path to explore Chicago. Take a chance. Notice the stories happening around you. Observe nature. Live to your fullest potential. Positivity is a choice.
For our latest photoshoot we were inspired by Yin and Yang. If you’re not familiar with the concept, it is described in Chinese philosophy as when opposite forces are actually interconnected. They even complement one another.
With Caitlin’s light Scottish features and soft-spoken nature / Danielle’s olive Italian features and outspoken vibrancy, the two look like opposites on the surface.
The Dolls call each other soul sisters, because while they are so different in some elements they complement each other greatly. We believe in supporting others and sending a positive message to the universe
Life isn’t perfect but your outfit can be. We always have a blast pulling our looks. Fashion is fun, and a perfect opportunity for us to harmlessly break some rules.
Keeping with the Yin Yang theme, Cait chose all black sequins and gold shoes to show how we sparkle like we mean it. To have add a little gangster to this look, we added this Namaste beanie. Dani wore all white in paige denim jeans ripped herself, a white lace crop top and nude pumps. We added a vintage fur hat to make this look on point.
As for the backdrop – we chose one of our favorite local adventure spots – Chinatown.
If you live in Chicago and haven’t been here yet. Stop what you are doing and make plans to get there now!
Here are a few of our favorite recommendations:

- DIM SUM: Phoenix

Always remember… Say yes to adventure.
