Once Upon a Dollhouse has the sweetest little mascot, Stummie. He is a Maltese- Shih tzu with a 4 1/2 pound body but a 100 pound personality. This August, the Dolls will be celebrating Stummie’s 11th birthday, which Caitlin and Dani consider to be such a blessing.
As Stummie ages the Dolls want to make sure they are doing whatever is in their power to keep him healthy. When Caitlin and Dani were introduced to Side by Side pet products, they were excited to share a product with their furry baby that stand by the motto: Feed Love. Feed Life.
It’s been a few weeks since Stummie first had his Side by Side Pet Assessment with founder Marney Prince, who is also a veterinary technician. Based on her recommendations, we changed Stummie’s food to Side by Side and we now see him fully living his best life. Side by Side recommended a diet for him that includes the Mellow recipe because it is warming, gentle on the GI tract, and supports heart health. Marney also thought that Stummie could benefit from the Belly Balance formula, with her specific instructions. As far as treats go, Marney started us off with Chicken Hearts and Bison Jerky. Our furry baby is so happy with the ingredients, his food is minimally processed and packed with nutrients he needs, and just like us he is now getting natural sources of protein, vitamins, minerals, fiber and the purest herbs.
Both C and D have noticed an increase in Stummie’s energy levels, his cloudy eyes have cleared and he seems happy as ever! We are so happy we listened to what our pet needed in his life, which was proper nutrition and product recipes that were developed in collaboration with a holistic veterinarian, credentialed in Eastern and Western medicine.
