It’s All in the Details

July 13, 2018

When planning and hosting events is your passion, your wedding day is the ultimate occasion to  pull out all the stops. That means every little detail! The days are ticking down to Caitlin’s walk down the aisle and as most Dolls know, all the fun is in the details.  Dani Doll is here by her side for all the finishing touches.

5 Little Details that Make a Big Difference

Glam Squad – This is the ultimate occasion to get Dolled Up! Our piece of advice? Choose the glam squad that knows you best and speaks to your heart.

Get your makeup done at different places. What look did you feel most confident in? Makeup artist Liz Monroe, will be glamming up the Bridesdolls for the wedding. We’ve worked with this Chanel insider before, and she specializes in an elegant glam perfect for a bride!

We’re also working with our favorite go-to hair palace,  Salon833. The salon heard about Cait’s hubby-to-be from the moment they first met, so it’s only appropriate to see her and her bride tribe off on the day of!

Accessories –  A little something extra to add sparkle to the day! We love the idea of adorning bridesdolls with some special accessories and robes to get dolled up in. The price points and the quality are spot on at Dusty Rose – another bridal brand we’ve recently discovered and fallen in love with! Shop our robes and crowns on their website.

Dance Floor – Lately, we’ve been swooning over the idea of a customized dance floor and we’re working with LD Events Decor on  a special white vinyl monogrammed dance floor! Imagine the photo opps for your first dance.

Photo Booth – Speaking of photo opps…who doesn’t love one? We adore the transformation of the modern day photo booth. We’ve gone from silly to modern, pretty, sophisticated with a glam light and floral backdrop. Floral Facade is our to-doll-for resource to set the scene. Whether your vibe is girly glam or bohemian chic, there is a custom backdrop for you!

We loved pre-living our bestie glam at this chic city venue. Kimpton Hotel Palomar pulled out  all the stops like glasses of bubbly and delicious confections. The location you get ready at will help set the tone for your special day.

Wedding planning can be so much fun! One of my husband’s closest friends acted as my wedding planner (she was considering a career change) for free and we had a really good time. I enjoyed shoe shopping and cake shopping! If I was getting married today it would be a different experience (I want to renew on the beach at 20 years (3 years from now))

    Have a wonderful wedding!

I agree that accessories are necessary detail that shouldn’t be missed even for bridesmaid. I also like your idea of a photo booth set up, I think the wedding guests would really love that!

I love the idea of a customised dancefloor for a wedding. I already know who my glam squad would be if I ever needed them as two of my best friends are hair and make up artists x

It’s such a good idea to have a makeup artist for a wedding. What better day or way to get all glammed up. 🙂

We didn’t have a big budget so everything was handmade. Which I love anyway since I am an avid crafter!

Getting married next year so the tips are very handy. Love the idea of a photobooth and why not, a karaoke moment will spice things up.

Attention to detail is so key to event planning – your photos are so vibrant! A photo booth is a great idea as well, I went to a wedding where they had one and it was so fun for the guests.

Having a good dance floor is an important aspect for a wedding. If you don’t have a good dance space it doesn’t work out very well. 🙂
