Love is a Four-Legged Word

June 7, 2018

This post was sponsored by Side By Side. All doll-pinions expressed in my post are our own.

Caitlin and Danielle know a thing or two about the endless joy a pet invites into your life. When you’re raised with dogs, you know that love is a four-legged word. The Dolls recently STUMbled on Side by Side Pet products, and decided to let their sidekick, Stummie make the final decision!

We understand the importance of fueling our own bodies with the most nutrient rich foods possible, and vow to do the same for all furry babies.

Side by Side has a mantra that speaks true to our Doll Souls:

The love we have for our pets is the foundation for our commitment to improving the lives of our four-legged best friends through better nutrition. We believe that when you give your pets better nutrition, you give them a better life.”

With a name like Stummie (a mix between a stomach and a tummie) – you better believe that he likes to eat well! Stummie loves the fresh and all natural proteins from chicken, duck, beef, rabbit and fish. The food is actually created using finely ground bones and organ meats to provide him with the same high quality nutrients us Dolls would find in a bone broth.

Stummie is a one-of-a-kind pooch that has stolen our hearts and the hearts of every guy and Doll he meets. Standing at 6 inches tall and weighing 4 1/2 pounds and clocking in at 10 years old, this little gentlemen has a personality larger than life.

We’ve been cranking the numbers, and deciphered that in his lifetime, Stummie has made about half a million people smile. It’s our goal to keep him living his best life and sharing his unconditional love with everyone he meets. This starts with what he eats.

When Caitlin and Danielle are concerned about their diets and health routines, these Dolls will pool their resources and work with both Eastern and Western styles of care to achieve their goals.

Side by Side Pet does that for your furry baby. Their product recipes are developed in collaboration with a holistic veterinarian, credentialed in Eastern and Western medicine. The food is prepared in small batches and rigorously tested to verify the best nutrition delivery, caloric intake, and food safety. They have no additives, no toxins, and no carcinogens.

Here’s how to get it for your Dog:

  • You start with an online assessment
  • After the assessment is complete, you will be instructed to book a consultation with Side by Side founder, Marney Price.
  • Based on your pets specific health needs a plan is created:
    • There are 10 food options, so something for every pet
    • 12 types of treats
    • 6 supplements
    • 3 food toppers
    • 3 tail mixes

Our online Pet Assessment was reviewed by Marney Prince, the founder of Side by Side who is also a veterinary technician. The Pet Assessment was very detailed and asked all the right questions to give Marney full insight into understanding what your pet needs. Marney was able to pinpoint where Stummie is in his life cycle and quickly provide food, supplement and treat options to help keep our senior-aged pooch feeling and looking his best.

Marnie recommended the Mellow recipe because it is warming, gentle on the GI tract, and supports heart health. She also thought that Stummie could benefit from the Belly Balance formula, with her specific instructions. As far as treats go, Marnie started us off with Chicken Hearts and Bison Jerky.

About

Once upon a time... there were two best friends that lived in a Dollhouse. That's where the story began. While the pages of this digital storybook keep turning, one thing remains the same. Caitlin and Dani are by each other's side through the ups, downs and all the realness in between.
