June 11, 2019

In celebration of sunshine, staying healthy, and making memories with your best friend –  the Dolls have been working their magic in the kitchen. There’s something nostalgic about a cold summer treat, and these Protein Smoothie Popsicles have zero guilt attached. Keep reading for our with a special summer recipe messipe… because clean up is easy with Krud Kutter.

Life is easier when you just chill out

Get ready to chill out with some Fruit Smoothie Protein Popsicles!

Caitlin and Danielle are wearing camo shorts with sequin pride tshirts.

Popsicle recipes have been poppin up everywhere – but  we needed to have our own Dollhouse take on it! Our health and wellness is a top priority for us, and we love how eating clean makes us feel. More energy, a clear mind and a positive attitude are just a few benefits we have seen.

We used our favorite protein powder – Complete by Juice Plus+ in each recipe. These popsicles are perfect for a healthful “on-the-go” breakfast, post-workout recovery treat, or summertime snack.

All the goodness of a smoothie with all the fun of a popsicle treat! This summer messipe is quick and the cleanup is easy with Krud Kutter. Watch us make a mess in the video below!

INGREDIENTS:

Raspberry Acai Flavor

  • Vanilla vegan protein
  • 3 bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 package frozen acai
  • 1/2 cup almond coconut milk

Green Kiwi Flavor

  • Vanilla vegan protein
  • 2 peeled kiwis
  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup almond coconut milk Ice

Strawberry Mango Flavor

  • Vanilla vegan protein
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup mango
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond coconut milk Ice

DIRECTIONS:

Add all ingredients to a blender and process until well-combined.

If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add 4-5 ice cubes before blending.

To make popsicles: Pour blended smoothie into popsicles molds and insert a popsicle stick into the center.

Freeze for 3-4 hours before removing popsicles from the molds.

TIP: Run the molds under lukewarm water for 10-15 seconds to help the popsicles loosen easily.

These popsicles sound delicious! I won’t drink smoothies because I don’t like the texture, but I probably would like one as an ice pop!
