It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year, we’re inviting you all to help us honor the strong, courageous women who are kicking forward and making strides. Actions do truly speak louder than words, which is why we’re happy to announce that our city is brimming with tons of fun-filled activities you can attend to help empower and inspire. Together, we can use our collective #DollPower to make a change during this month-long parade of pink.
So what are you waiting for?! Here are for four ways you can go PINK with us in Chicago this October:
Making Strides of Chicago
Get your walking (and dancing) shoes on, because this is about to be a marathon to remember! Making Strides of Chicago will be held at Soldier Field Stadium Green on October 21st, and money raised will be going towards the American Cancer Society to fight breast cancer. Help fuel the battle, whether it’s by striding or cha-cha-sliding your way to the finish line.
Every October, American Cancer Society holds a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event so anyone touched by breast cancer won’t have to face their diagnosis alone. This helps raise awareness and money to fund research, support services, and early detection. These Making Strides events save lives. We are putting together a DOLL team and we would LOVE for you to join us! Just click here to join to our team: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/OnceUponaDollhouse
Charmed by Chamilia
Be a part of the movement with a new limited edition Chamilia Brave & Strong Charm, and wear it loud and proud as a symbol of support, memory, and celebration! A portion of the proceeds when purchasing the charm will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Think Pink at Four Seasons Chicago
All month long, you can stop by Allium at Four Seasons Chicago for some positively pink cocktails and macarons! $1 from each sold will be donated to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Shop Tops for Tatas at fab’rik
A local Wicker Park boutique, fab’rik is holding a “Tops for Tatas” donation event from October 19 – October 22 in store. When you make a donation (at least $1) to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, they’ll get 20% off a top that day!
