The world is full of change right now, but the one constant Caitlin and Danielle can turn to is each other – and their community. The Dolls are partnering with GoDaddy to share #OpenWeStand, a movement to bring together small businesses and entrepreneurs in this challenging time.
It’s the individuals who make up a community that make it so powerful. The whole world is learning how to show up virtually for one another right now. We’re all in this together – and if there’s one thing that entrepreneurs know – it’s how to think outside the box! Our open discussions can only help each other. Join the GoDaddy community forum to contribute and learn: https://bit.ly/2JbCVYi. We’ll be participating and would love to know your tips and tricks during this time.
If you follow us closely, you’ll remember that we run a sister company to the blog called Dollhouse Social. You can think of us as your Social Media bestie… Because that’s how we treat our clients – like they are close friends. We are adapting in this uncertain time to assist all companies in need of guidance on staying relevant and driving sales. At this time, we are urging all businesses (especially small to medium ones) to lean in to their Social Media. But what if you don’t have a Social Media strategy? We are offering pro-bono virtual strategy sessions to help you come up with a plan that works for your biz! Schedule a digital meeting right here.
Caitlin and Danielle are wearing dresses by MacDuggal with jean jackets by Eda & Betty, two Chicago-based businesses.
If you run a small to medium business, we understand that your mind is probably a flurry with questions about what this means for your company, your income and your family. Perhaps it’s time to flip your business model upside down and taking an in-person business virtual. What would that look like? Let’s brainstorm together.
GoDaddy’s #OpenWeStand microsite is full of resources, inspiration & connection to other entrepreneurs during COVID-19. Check it out here: https://bit.ly/2ya6Uxt

I love the idea of a community forum where we can all support each other. I’ve noticed that these trying times can bring out the best and worst in each of us. Some are nice and help others, while other people are just out for themselves. I’m also a customer of GoDaddy so this is cool.

One thing is undoubtedly the photos in such a desolate NY will never happen to you again. I like the Avengers quote in front of their hypothetical tower!

I’m definitely trying to do some of the things you mentioned like leaning into my social media. Work has basically been the same for me so I acknowledge what is going on but keep working diligently. Thanks for the info!

Now those are some pictures that you will remember for all time. And it’s great that you’re having a good time with such a difficult time. My small business has been online from the start and still growing, but there is still so much work to be done. Being home the past couple of weeks has helped me get more done. I am enjoying that I am still in contact with friends, but I miss spending time with them physically. Hopefully we will be back up and running soon.

It’s crazy to see the streets so empty. It’s the same here where we’ve now gone into complete lockdown! Watching everyone moving around in gloves and masks is like something from a movie.

I honestly admire this idea of a community forum for sharing tips through this crisis and pandemic situations. I think millions will get help, suggestions and definitely it can make a difference in so many lives.

The economist are all saying that life in business will be so different going forward and I am also saying this to my friends but many of them don’t believe that a lot will change. I think it is so important to be open to changing the way we work going forward as bloggers and small business owners.
