National Taco Day - Once Upon a Dollhouse

Caitlin and Danielle are often found frolicking about Chicago, pirouetting to parties or down-dogging at the latest fitness fest. The best part about having a best friend, is doing these things together. In honor of National Taco Day, Caitlin and Danielle are celebrating the best friend to this culinary creation… the margarita.

We headed to Chicago’s most instagrammable taco pub, Broken English for an afternoon of tastings. There are several Broken English locations around Chicago, and likely to be one in your neighborhood! You can’t miss the vibrant murals and casual-cool atmosphere. It’s the perfect environment for a Doll’s afternoon of fun or night out.

The loop location carries one of our favorite brands of booze, SōmruS Mango. This one-of-a-kind liqueur has tasting notes from the Alphonso Mango – so delish! We played around with a new recipe at the bar. Here it is below:

SōmruS Mangorita

2 oz SōmruS Mango

1 oz Tequila

1/2 oz Triple Sec

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

half of a fresh squeezed lime (approximately 1 oz)
