It’s the most wonderful time of year – and with holiday travel just around the corner, every Doll is prepping their itinerary! We’ve arrived at the time of year that bodes an extra twinkle in our eyes, a sparkle in our step, and glimmer of gratitude for the friends and family that make this time so special. Our calendars are full with festive fêtes, gift giving, seasonal baking, travel plans and family moments. Caitlin and Danielle believe that the key to nama’stay merry and bright is doing travel right. That means a great attitude and a stylish (but comfy) ensemble from Adidas.

When we travel, one of our favorite things to incorporate is yoga and meditation. This is a practice that you can do anywhere. Seriously! If your flight is delayed and you find yourself instantly needing to somehow stay calm, check and see if your airport has a yoga room. This way you can remove yourself from the situation, get zen and return to figuring out whatever the issue may be, with a level head. If you’re traveling by car, take the opportunity to refuel your mind when you refuel your car. Do a stretch and clear your mind – your body will thank you! When you arrive at your destination, you’ll have a clear head and an open heart.
3 Great Yoga Poses to do Anywhere
Warrior Two: Stand in Tadasana (Mountain Pose). With an exhalation, step or lightly jump your feet 3 1/2 to 4 feet apart. Raise your arms parallel to the floor and reach them actively out to the sides, shoulder blades wide, palms down. Turn your right foot slightly to the right and your left foot out to the left 90 degrees. (Yoga Journal)
Reverse Warrior: From Warrior II pose (with the right knee bent), bring the left hand down to rest on the left leg… Keep the right knee bent, pressing into the feet with the legs strong… Breathe and hold for 2-6 breaths. To release: inhale the arms parallel to the floor coming back into Warrior II. Repeat on other side. (Yoga Journal)
Childs Pose: Begin on your hands and knees… Spread your knees wide apart while keeping your big toes touching… Sit up straight and lengthen your spine up through the crown of your head. On an exhalation, bow forward, draping your torso between your thighs.… Keep your arms long and extended, palms facing down. (Yoga Journal)
