When you’re keeping up with the glam 24/7, it’s easy to find yourself stuck in a busy routine. We all know that every Doll has to hustle (because hard work pays off in the end, of course) but we can’t let ourselves forget about self-care in between the countless meetings and social events.

Luckily, getting caught up in a rut can be avoided, and we suggest doing so by sitting back, relaxing, and taking advantage of all the magical resources our city has to offer. Chicago Ideas Week is almost upon us, AKA an opportunity for some serious inspo and food for thought!

To make it easier on you Dolls, we’ve rounded up a list of panels and speakers we think you’d LOVE to hear from:

• October 16 – Collaborative Creativity and the Evolution of an Idea

Get the behind-the-scenes on what goes into creative collaboration. Cutting-edge ideas such as “Hamilton: An American Musical” don’t just happen overnight, and designers Zac Posen and David Korins are here to tell you just that.

• October 17 – Innovating from Within: When the Entrepreneurial Spirit Never Stops

In this Talk, founders and business leaders will get you the insight you need on what it takes to keep a business up and perpetually #thriving. (This one’s a plus for all you Bobbi Brown lovers!)

• October 17 – Love and Friendship: This is How We Do It Now

Speaking of love, did we mention there’s a Talk on that, too?! Listen in if you’re like us and still trying to wrap your head around this paradigm—from swiping right to defining the new norms.

• October 19 – A Seat at the Table: Finding Equal Footing Through Storytelling

If you appreciate the power of storytelling, then this is the Talk for you. And what better people to give you advice than a revolutionary Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Uber’s Chief Brand Officer, and 2017 Emmy-winning writer?

• October 19 – From Catwalks to Pop-ups: How Streetwear Set the Pace for High Fashion

A Doll’s gotta love a sneak peek into the exclusive world of high fashion. Listen as industry designers and icons answer some of our most pondered questions like: how did Air Jordans become just as expensive as a Chanel purse?
