Caitlin and Danielle have frequented the Disney parks as children, but recently yearned for another opportunity to experience the Disney magic. As adults, the parks are a whole new world – full of savory culinary creations and sweet treats, cocktails, champagne and countless opportunities to create memories. With a dash of pixie dust, and burst of excitement, the two Dolls jetted off to Orlando for Epcot’s yearly Food and Wine festival… When a Doll wishes upon a star, she may end up at Disney World!
When we learned that SōmruS would be at Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2018, our (Minnie Mouse) ears perked up and we started planning a trip fit for two princesses. We were first introduced to this tasty beverage in December of 2017 and have since developed a devotion for this delectable rum treat, a devotion that is rooted almost as strong as Minnie and Mickey’s admiration for each other!
Upon arrival into Orlando, we did what we do best and hosted an epic party… a pool party to introduce some of our Orlando Insta family to these tasty cocktails. Our squad were all Disney veterans full of advice and tips for the park. We can’t wait to plan another trip to see them all!
As we all do, both Dolls have favorite Princesses… Caitlin loves Cinderella and Elsa, while Dani adores Princess Jasmin and Belle. Could you imagine our excitement when we discovered the princess-inspired swimwear from Enchanted Bikinis?! A Disney themed pool party needs its princesses.
The Dolls twirled from one international pavilion to the next around Epcot Food and Wine. There are so many cultures to experience, international flavors to taste, photo opps galore… Where does a Doll begin?
When you arrive at Disney Epcot, you can find the SōmruS Mango Lassi at the India Booth right between China and Germany. This cocktail is a delicious treat on a warm Florida day! Imagine cooling down amidst Florida humidity with a frozen mango topped with Indian chai flavored rum. Now, that’s something to cheers to!
The best part of international travel is trying something new – whether it’s margaritas in Mexico, waffles in Belgium, saké in Japan, gelato in Italy, tea and crumpets in England. We always say YES to new best friend adventures! A few highlights from our trip around the world were cooling down with a SōmruS Mango Lassi, opening oysters in Japan for pearls, sipping champagne in Paris and chatting with Alice in Wonderland.
While in Chicago, we stumbled into Forever21 on State Street only to discover the cutest collaboration with Disney! They got their shirts, socks and scarves there and had the backs of the shirts customized with Cait Doll and Dani Doll over at T-Shirt Deli in Wicker Park.
We are going to make it a point to make it back to Disney to keep sipping SōmruS in 2019 and also, visit all the parks! Have you ever been to Disney or Epcot? Tell us experience in the comments!
This post was made possible through our partnership with SōmruS. As always, all doll-pinions are our own.

Looks like you had a lot of fun at Disney. I cannot wait to bring my children there. A couple more years and they will both be old enough to appreciate it.

Love the classic Minnie Mouse Tshirt. During the 1960s to 2000s, Minnie Mouse was the very cute looking mouse. And I am happy that you people had all the fun. Sounds like Summer is almost over. But also a small amount of jealousy I have. Tell Caitlin and Danielle to try another Disneyland Park in Hong Kong one, if this is not the Hong Kong one. I wanted to go to Disneyland since childhood and they are making me sad, no fair. Wish I could have joined them, always wanted to visit.

what a great trip, you both seem like you had a blast! I haven’t been to Disney in a while, probably like 9 years ago. I have a few friends in Orlando, might have to plan a trip out there.
