March 8th marks a beautiful day for Dolls everywhere. International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women. It is Caitlin and Danielle’s hope that we can come together to inspire one another today and every day. It is by lifting each other up and encouraging one another to be our best selves, that we can ultimately make the world a better place.
We were honored to host a group of ambitious, kind and fun-loving women at a real-life Dollhouse courtesy of Paso Robles Vacation Rentals. This house became a place where we would bond, drink wine, share meals, tell stories. It became a place where women talked to each other with respect, treated each other with dignity, celebrated our achievements and encouraged each other to chase our dreams.
It’s evident to all of us that women of all ages and backgrounds have the ability to multitask, prioritize and please everyone. It’s part of our inner emotional strength that propels our personal, social and professional lives. This innate ability to BALANCE was something we needed to bring forefront to our Paso Robles trip – which is why we started the day with donuts and yoga!
There is one donut shop – ahem, society – to visit when you’re in Paso Robles. Twisted and Glazed creates colorful confections that are as scrumptious as they are cute! Some of our favorite flavors are cookie monster, bacon and maple, animal cookies and Boston creme… to name a few!
Caitlin and Danielle taught yoga in our favorite Joriki Yoga gear and our intention was inspired by Rumi.
I have been a seeker and I still am, but I stopped asking the books and the stars. I started listening to the teaching of my soul.
As young women putting ourselves in the spotlight, we want to remind everyone to listen to their inner selves and to share a message they are proud to share with the world.
You may or may not be surprised to know that studies have revealed women to be emotionally far more stronger than men. This is evident to Cait & Dani as we look at the strength and love that our mothers and grandmothers harness.
It was this strength that was called upon in WWII to help win the war. One of the most popular pieces of Americana art was in fact a wartime propaganda piece, J. Howard Miller’s “We Can Do It” poster. During this time, women were needed to fill many traditionally male jobs and roles during the war. We paid tribute to the era at the Estrella Warbird Museum in Paso Robles.
Because International Women’s Day is also about accelerating the potential for our female peers, we want to take a moment to spotlight our fabulous blogger group. Please follow, like, comment and share! These women are all spreading a beautiful message and we are proud to know them.

You all look so happy together. I’m a terrible woman, and had no idea that there was even such a thing as International Woman’s Day aha. I love that it is a thing, though, so empowering. 🙂
