A Doll only turns thirty once… although celebrations last all month! The emotions of the transition to a new decade have been nothing but delightful – filled with love and laughter; romance and wine; relaxation and sparkle. Cait followed her pink sparkly heart and traveled to a whimsical palace in Southern California for the perfect celebratation. The Madonna Inn is a quirky, flirty establishment like none other.
Pink is Cait’s favorite color and she sparkles like she means it – from the inside out. Dress this Doll up and take her to her dream house! The enchanting inn is a landmark in Southern California and filled with 110 uniquely whimsical rooms, each one different from the next.
A winding staircase brings you to the private fourth floor room for Cait’s first room – called Carin. This enchanting room has been touched by baby angels and the soft shades of pink have captured our hearts! This Doll couldn’t help but squeal with excitement looking around as the walls shimmer. Seriously, the walls are made of glitter. Wrapped in affection, Carin is a perfect gift for all occasions.
30 is a number – and a beautiful number at that! Many look at this milestone as the end of your twenties, but the Dolls see it as the start of a beautiful new chapter in your life. In numerology, the number thirty signifies great communication skills, creativity, laughter and joy. Those who identify with the number thirty are known to be superb hosts – to have a cheeky and charismatic energy.
Have your cake and eat it too – A 30th birthday is an occasion to pull out all the stops – particularly cake in bed the morning of! #IWOKEUPLIKETHIS Seriously, this cake is everything a Doll could dream of! A Pink. Champagne. Cake. Need we say more? Ok, if you insist. This is a white cake with Bavarian and whip cream filling topped with pink chocolate shavings.
Get in the Saddle – Your thirties are about taking life by the reigns and going for it. Say “YES!” to new life experiences. Say “YES!” to travel. Say “YES!” to adventure.
Be a Birthday Beauty – When you travel for an occasion like this, you must be prepped to beauty through the planes, automobiles, wine and more wine. There are a few travel essentials we’d love to share:

We had some lovely food while in San Luis Obispo. For such a small town, there are some really beautiful spots, including NOVO, pictured above.
Never Leave Home without your Crown – Braided or gilded in gold, every lady is a Princess and should be reminded so every day! A trip to the Hearst Castle left us in awe.
Treat Yourself – Spa-ahhhh! Treatments at the Madonna Inn Spa had were nothing but delightful. We sipped champagne by the poolside afterwards, dipping into the pools and hot tubs, taking in the beauty of the on-site waterfalls. We love the floral heart behind us!

Life’s a Stage – Strike a pose and dance on it! Here’s a tip… when visiting the Madonna Inn, ask to move around. If you simply enquire, you can stay in a variety of rooms to really experience the unique atmosphere of each. Of course – we opted to stick with the theme and stay in all PINK rooms. This one came complete with a stage.
Don’t Rush at Gold Rush – The steak house at Madonna Inn is an experience like no other. First of all, the decor is so perfectly over the top. Every corner is a photo opp! The best part is the entertainment. The night featured real dinner and dancing. SWOOON. Adjacent to the dining room was a live band and a dance floor full of professional dancers. We ate and drank, danced, laughed, ate and drank, danced, giggled drank, danced and danced the night away.
Have too much to Dream – We couldn’t go to wine country without visiting some wineries. The California sun shined down on Paso Robles as we ventured to three neighboring vineyards for tastings and tours.
We spent our last night in Tall & Short, another Pink room!
Dress to LIVE – The Dolls love a showstopping gown for any occasion. This lacey dress is from a fantastic little secret in Chicago – Alcala’s Boutique. The shop next to the Western store is for the modern-day fashion vixen. The store is owned by two sisters who cater to their customers with hand-picked pieces that make women feel comfortable and beautiful. Stop by for their private label made by hand, one-of-a-kind jewelry, shoes, boots, bags and home decor items.

Well, I am not even sure where to start with this post! There is so much beauty to look it…every single outfit is stunning and also I NEED that barbie swimsuit?!!
