Bridesmaid Proposal

March 7, 2018

One of the most exciting parts of getting engaged, is your chance to pop the question to your closest Dolls. That’s right.. a bridesmaid proposal! When you have a squad of close gal pals, this is a special way to show them how much they mean to you.

Caitlin and Danielle are wearing Beaded High-Neck Ball Gowns with Tulle Skirt by Speechless at th  beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Chicago.

If you’re a bride anything like Caitlin, you’ve put careful thought and care about who will stand beside you, up at the altar, as you get ready to say “I do.”

The next step, the fun step, is finally popping the question that’s filled with SO much excitement, Will you be my bridesmaid?

These Dolls will be by your side for every moment – from the engagement party to dress shopping and beyond. For a such a special ask, the presentation has to be special. There was a lot of love and sparkle put into these handmade proposal boxes!

Bridesmaid Proposal Box:

Gold Glitter Bottle from OneHope Wine. You can purchase a case of twelve to divvy up. One of the things we love most about this company is that they give back. Every case provides 48 meals to a child in need.

Charming Charlie has all kinds of girly gifts. I chose a unicorn wine stopper, champagne bath bomb,  and a glitter snowglobe frame to hold a personal photo from the engagement party.

I’m a lucky bride.. to have my bestie by my side (plus nine other beauties). We’re starting to see large bridal parties become the trend. Here’s a quick shout out to the bride tribe… Roll call!

Rosie  – Cousin, Friend, HMIC (Head Maid in Charge)! We have played dress up together, conga lined to Justin Bieber, romped around Chicago, Milwaukee, New York City + Seattle, worked out mid-hangover and more together. Of course every little girl thinks about their wedding day and I’ve always pictured my sweet cousin by my side.
Alissa – Future Sissy in Law! Our first meeting was before a summer Cubs game in Chicago, which was a blast. She’s just as sweet and fun as Zach. She’s also a new mother to the sweetest little girl, Lenora!
Amanda – Amanda is my Sister in Law. We’ve played softball together, gone to music festivals together, and I was honored to stand by her side while she married my brother in 2016. Amanda is a brand new mommy to the most precious boy, Charlie!
Bronwyn  – Bronwyn is one of the very first people I met in college and my sorority sister! We’ve been through thick and thin together – from sorority formals, to dating in college and beyond, studying for final exams, Spring Break, St. Louis Mardi Gras, and annual visits. She’s my favorite listener and always gives sage advice.
Dani Doll  – Do you recognize this beauty? We met at a fire and ice party, quickly became friends, and then roommates (at the Dollhouse), and then biz partners. Dani was there the night Z and I met and when we won Stanley Cup Final tickets – plus every little moment in between and beyond! Danielle is always there for me and has a huge sparkly heart.
Jenny  – Cousin plus one of the most brilliant and caring people I know.  She’s a do-everything-goddess. She’s a doctor and a burning man veteran. She’s a skilled sailor and a party princess.
Katie  – Katie is the little sister I’ve always wanted! We met during rush week at St. Louis University and she became my little sister in our sorority. We’ve laughed together, cried together, and we always excuse calories together. She even came to Paso Robles with us as the Dollhouse photog.
Kristie  – My cousin and the bubbly life of the party! She’s a caring friend, easy to talk to, and she has a huge heart. We’ve had late nights at the cousin bar crawl and lazy days at Lake Geneva.
Megan  – Megan and I went to 3 year old pre-school, grade school and high school together! We had the joy of living together in our 20’s and have countless silly single girl memories together. Megan was also present the night Z and I met! We love to go to fun workout classes together.
Molly – My cousin and younger sister to Rosie. Molly has always been there for our cousin escapades… I like to think of her as the practical yet undeniably fun one.  Sun and relaxation are a priority for her. One of my favorite memories is celebrating Molly’s 21st birthday in Florida.
